About Millar's Walking Tours
My approach
Since writing London's Hidden Walks volume 1 several years ago, I have been fascinated by our urban environment and enjoy best exploring new routes that are unusual. I am fascinated by everying from hidden rivers, to abandoned railway lines and the stories of individuals who have shaped our cities.
My books
I have written seven walking guides with a 'hidden' theme that together cover hundreds of miles of routes across London, Edinburgh, Glasgow and New York. I have designed nearly 100 new and original walks.
My walks
Over the last few years I have set up up a 'meetup' walking group that has around 2,500 members and I have really enjoyed leading walks and not just writing them! I thoroughly enjoy meeting locals and visitors and showing them the parts of Glasgow and Edinburgh that I have discovered.
